Jon Carson, Sales Manager

An Idaho native, Carson grew up 90 minutes from Boise in the South Central region of the Gem state. He pursued degrees in Public Relations and Political Science at the University of Idaho as the Palouse region seemed imminent as a fourth generation Idaho Vandal.

After college in 2011, he took a position at Inland Northwest Broadcasting as a local Promotions Director and in 2013 was made Director of Promotions and Marketing for the nine-station broadcast group. In 2018, Carson was moved into the Sales Manager position for both Inland Northwest Broadcasting and IdaVend Broadcasting.

When not in the office, at a community event, or on the golf course, he spends his time hunting and serves on the Board of Directors for the Hills and Rivers Housing Trust.

Dennis Deccio

Dennis has worked with Inland Northwest Broadcasting, and is a former-owner and air personality since 1976. Deccio is a Marketing Consultant and Account Executive for Bull Country 99.5, ZFun 106, myRadio 102.5, 1400 The Palouse’s ESPN, 840 The Max, and 1450 KCLX--Palouse Country. He and his partners put ZFun 106 on the air in 1985.

Deccio is a graduate and alumnus of Washington State University where he received his BA in Communications. A Washington native, Deccio was raised in Walla Walla on a 38-acre row crop farm where Walla Walla Sweet Onions were grown as well as many other crops. He Graduated DeSales High School in Walla Walla. Deccio lives in Moscow with his two dachshunds, ‘Link’ and ‘Loki’ and 2 cats-Bella and Sista. Deccio is a busy grandpa, dog-Dad and gardener. He also finds time to volunteer for organizations and events around Moscow, including the Latah Recovery Center, past Moscow Chamber of Commerce President, past-chair of St. May’s School board, Past Chair of St Mary’s Parish Council, past chair of Moscow Elks Lodge Board of Trustees. He served six years in the Army National Guard with honorable discharge as staff sergeant.

 He spent 28 years as a part time professor of Journalism, media and communications at both Washington State University and University of Idaho. Past PA announcer for Vandal football games for 19 years. He’s worked with all types of clients designing and implementing successful radio campaigns for over 40 years. He’s written and produced thousands of radio commercials.

Sherol Scott 

 

As a small business owner and longtime Palouse resident, Sherol is uncommonly attentive to the needs and challenges facing her clients, as well as possessing a vast range of knowledge on how to address these concerns. Involved, encouraging, and dedicated to learning on a daily basis, Sherol has a wealth of firsthand experience in what makes businesses in our region thrive.

A proud Pullman resident and even more proud mother of seven children, Sherol is as enmeshed in the Palouse community as anyone. She sees the area as one big city, albeit with more natural beauty than most, and brings this sense of interconnectivity to bear in order to help her clients maximize their potential audience.

Sherol is well connected to the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, is an active advocate for Festival Dance, and delights in supporting community building efforts of all sorts. An avid gardener with a passion for herbal medicine and remedies, Sherol is a font of knowledge and is more than happy to share her abundant expertise.

Her areas of expertise include municipal services and municipalities, special event promotion, retail sales, auto-parts sales, grocery stores, nongovernmental/nonprofit sectors, dental care, fast-casual dining, education and schools, and healthcare and hospitals.

Owen Midkiff 

A Palouse resident since 2016, Owen is a charismatic and gifted storyteller, which when combined with the practical skills he learned while obtaining a degree in Marketing at the University of Idaho’s College of Business and Economics, makes him the ideal marketing consultant.

Owen is equally adept at executing grand ideas as he is in attending to minute details, leaning on a clear and open style of communication to ensure client expectations are met at every turn. He is particularly motivated by the passion of his clients and is dedicated to helping everyone find success in doing what they love.

Speaking of love, Owen is a lifelong lover of the arts – theater, film, TV, and games of the digital and tabletop variety – and the varied approaches these mediums take to telling a compelling story. He actively engages in cultural events all across the Palouse, both for his own enjoyment and to ensure he is well versed in potential opportunities for his clients.
